(SPOILER) Opening night review from someone who saw a preview showing. This guy went all out. Loved the t-shirts. And here's a great review from a local weekly, "[It] caught me completely off guard by making them seem new all over again, recapturing some of the fun of the first three Star Wars movies."

Fireflies! How come I didn't think of that? Oh wait, we don't have fireflies in the pacific NW. It's a shame. Since I was a child it's been a dream of mine to someday see a firefly.

Awwwwww, electricspacegirl. I didn't realize there were no fireflys in the Pacific NW. ...But they have them in Europe. Interesting. Now I have to go research fireflys.

Sometimes we have more than other times, but they are always one of those things that brings smiles when they show up. A friend of mine and I were driving home from the country and passed a field that was covered in them. We had to pull over to the side of the road to watch the light show. It was amazing. Now if only I could get a look at the Northern Lights sometime...
coldfront4 I've merged your two links together to save space on the front page.
In my part of the South fireflies are called 'lightning bugs'. (Which would explain why my husband and I enjoyed joking that 'Lightning Bug' was the real name of Serenity's ship classification when the series first aired.) Summer wouldn't be summer without them. At the height of their mating season the trees around my house twinkle as though they're covered in tiny pale-green Christmas lights!
You guys are making me all jealous. That's it. Even if I'm old and grey, even if I have to kill everyone on the face of this earth to do it, I will see a firefly!
