The Serenity paperback comic can now be ordered on amazon.com. Surprisingly Amazon lists the release date for February but I thought this was supposed to come out in January?

It's scheduled for Jan. 25, but the 'direct market' (ie comic stores) always get comics a bit earlier than the regular bookstores (including the internet ones.)

What *is* strange is that Amazon lists the TP as 80pp, while the official sollicitation and Dark Horse's site list it at 104pp. (And the price seems to have dropped from $12.95 in the official sollicitation to $9.95 on Amazon and the Dark Horse site now.)

Here's where it's listed on Darkhorse.com: http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=10-759
Cover looks nice! I wonder if there'll be any extra material there. I might just buy it anyway because re-reading will be easier in TPB form.
I *adore* that cover. It's got fireflies! I love fireflies.
What is this exactly? This is not a compilation of the comics that were released in August, is it?

Uh...yup. That's what this is.

I'll still buy it, though, if not only for the great cover...

66pp of comic material and 9 covers to reprint, so if it's 104pp, there should be some nice extras; if it's 80pp, not so much.
From the official book description: " an old enemy eager remake their aquanitance". He wants to make them blue-green? Or change them from a blue-green to more of a blue?
