Slither website slips onto the net. Starring Nathan Fillion, according to the site the movie is to be released domestically on March 31, 2006. Check out the photo page to find a shot of Nathan.

Is it just me, or does the shot of him...well...they look like UPS guys with guns. :)

Calendar marked for seeing Nathan back up on the big screen. Thanks!
March? I thought this was coming out in January? Must have got pushed back yet again.
I think it looks fun. I don't think it will take Nathan's career to the lofty heights it deserves, but it might be entertaining and increase his visibility a little. Seems kind of like Tremors.
Did anyone else see Nathan's movie Water's Edge? That was pretty good. I might watch Slither, just for Nathan.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely going to see this in theatres; I would even if Nathan wasn't in it. I'm a big fan of horror movies and was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed last year's Dawn of the Dead (despite being nearly convinced beforehand that I would hate it, since I tend to revere George A. Romero's films), so I'll certainly watch Mr. Gunn's first feature. The little that I've heard about it is that, like Cabin Fever, it's a bit of a throwback to the spirit and tone of classic 1980s horror; silly without taking itself too seriously and full of creepy scares and gory bits. That's not always what appeals to me but sometimes, it's enough.
Plus, this was filmed in Langley BC (about 50 kilometres east of Vancouver) and every so often I see parked vehicles in my neighbourhood with "Slither Film Crew" stickers on their dashboards and folks wearing similarly adorned vests or jackets - I'll admit, kinda exciting!
Saw the trailer for this. It looks absolutely ridiculous, and I mean that in all the best possible ways. I'm there.
Gahhhh.

Damn it, why does Nathan's next movie have to look absolutely godawful? Like a bastardization of Tremors and Eight Legged Freaks, only without the B-movie greatness of the former or the silly but kind of dorkily cool likability of the latter.

Still, he is my captain, and I will see it for him...only for him...
