8MM 2 released on reg 1 DVD on 22nd November. Erotic thriller set in Eastern Europe with Julie Benz. Sounds like strictly one for the curiosities cabinet, unless of course you like girl on girl action.

(8 millimeters, hmm, somehow I can understand why the ladies have to look after themselves).

Btw, the film has no connection with the 8MM original Nick Cage movie.

Meanwhile, in what sounds like a whole lot more fun, Mr Julie Benz (John Kassir) stars in Reefer Madness, the Movie Musical.

Kassir stars along with a certain charming young lady, who goes by the name of Kristen Bell.
Wow. Just because it has to do with the XXX industry... I dont know why they even bothered making it a sequel. 8MM is a fantasicly dark and disturbing movie about a snuff film, and is in no way erotic at all. And the performances by Nicholas Cage and Joaquin Phoenix are incredible.

This is the last movie I thought they would ever sequelize. I'm dissapointed.
It's not really a sequel, the original title has been changed for marketing purposes. As far as I know, nobody involved in 8MM has contributed to this in any way, the studio simply had sequel rights to the Shumacher movie and can use the title as they see fit. Similar things happened with Meatballs 2 and, ahem, Troll 2.

EDIT: Oh, I see, this was already covered in the original post. Sorry about that.
