Win a prop from "Serenity"! "[One] lucky grand prize winner will receive an actual prop from the movie - a Certified Original Alliance Trooper Helmet..." And the Serenity movie site has a contest to win an Official Alliance Guard Uniform as well.

Three runner ups will each win a copy of the "Serenity" DVD.

Of course, I don't recall ever actually seeing this costume in the movie.

Edit: No, nevermind. I commented before clicking, thinking this was the give-away at the officla boards of an Alliance Guard uniform.

Yay! I entered the DVD Talk contest to win the helmet, but unfortunately, I would not have a very good piece of writing done by tomorrow, so entering the Alliance guard uniform contest is pretty much out of the question for me.

But I really hope I get the helmet.

I've entered both contests. I have a knack of writing quickly if not well but it is clear that a lot of fans have left the Serenity movie board and with the very short timeline I have hopes of at least getting chopsticks as the stuff I ordered from the store 3 months ago has never arrived.
And Nixy, I'm ordering the Australian version of the DVD as soon as they let me. And the North American version as well.
