December 16 2005

Firefly 16th top seller over 2005 for Amazon DVD. Over 2004 it averaged 60th, and 61st for 2003. Sales remain strong three years since cancellation of the series.

Woo! My company rocks... :)
That's just plain awesome. =)
Yay!!! Angel is around #30. This bodes well for the Serenity dvds!
So of course I had to look at the entire 100. The only items on the list that came out before Firefly (and are ranked significantly lower), are "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", which obviously benefitted from "Spamalot", and "Schoolhouse Rock".

Yipee!!
Can't wait to see how amazon's Future releases factors in to this list on/following the release date - Serenity (widescreen) is #1 there and Serenity (fullscreen) is at # 9!!
Hee.

Just want you all to know that I bought a Firefly set from Amazon just five minutes ago for my ex-boyfriend even though I don't watch it because I know it will make him very very happy and I am a good person.

So that number 16? Its all me. Or people like me. Whatever.

By the way is 29 dollars a good price?
Since the regular retail is $49.

Wonderfalls is at #93.
Just noticed that Firefly is the only dvd in that top 20 to get the full 5 stars.
Also, http://www.amazon.com/gp/gift-central/gift-guides/most-wished-for/130/dvd/ref=cm_gift_gg_lp__130/dvd/102-1588562-9731322?%5Fencoding=UTF8

both Firefly and Serenity are on the list for "Most Wished For ITems" on Amazon.
Besides the best selling list of 2005, Amazon.com also have a editor's top picks for 2005 and Wonderfalls comes in at #75. Firefly can't appear on that list because as far as I know they are only including DVD's that were released in 2005.
