The hottest men in Sci-Fi well according to Fembot that is. All good fun really.

And of course if you disagree with the linked list (no Daniel Jackon?), feel free to provide your own list.

Hmm. Definiteley some hot stuff there - especially the BDHs. But no Milton Fine? Hottest of the lot, IMO...
Have to disagree with the order a bit. Tom Welling over Nathan??
It helps that we enjoy so many pretty men in Firefly/Serenity, but I do feel that Ron Glass as book is also very attractive.
Funny you should mention the lack of Doc Jackson, Simon. I noticed that straight away. Would of though he would have been a sure thing for the list.

Nice to see all of my favourite science fiction shows accounted for. All except for Farscape anyway. Ben Browder is another of the guys that i would think deserved his place on the list, particularly with his status as a regular on both Farscape and Stargate now.

Okay, that's quite enough of the displaying of my feminine side, commenting on the hotness of guys. Back to more manly endeavours, like starting fires and hunting for food and stuff.
No JM, no DB, no Matthew Fox. Pfft! lol. Although I do agree with JH and AB.
Rrrrr. A very good list. But no list is complete, in my estimation, without Alexis Denisof. Or Michael Weatherly, who was my first TV boyfriend when he was on Dark Angel. Or, a bit further afield, Michael Vartan.

It's true, genre shows do have the best eye candy.
Hmmm... Jamie Bamber from BSG would have been at the very tippy top of my list. Oh well.
Kind of makes you wonder what really classifies as "Sci-Fi"...I didn't think LOST really fell into that category.
Aurra - I am so with you there - I kept scrolling down expecting to see him.
LOST is definitely Sci-Fi, just subtley enough that many of its viewers don't realize it :)
Ha, I love the fact that she listed Tom Welling but acknowledged the fact that Smallville pretty much sucks. That made me laugh, and it made me happy as well, because that show should never be on the air...
I, too, was surprised not to see Jamie Bamber make the list... If there was a list of people who look just like Alexander Siddig/Siddig El Fadil, I've no doubt that James Callis would be on that list :)
Was only interested to see if one character in particular was on the list, and to my pleasant surprise he was: David Hewlett

I really like Rodney, he's my favourite character in Atlantis. My wife, on the other hand, can't stand him.
imo, I probably would've put Sean as number one. I think he should do the Serenity sequel sans shirt. It should be in his contract.
Actually in the 'Visual Companion' Sean says that he expects to do the sequel completely in the buff (I suppose I should look up the exact quote).
And I can't believe I didn't notice that Wash/Alan Tudyk was left out of the list! He looks good shirtless too, in those cozy bedroom scenes with Gina/Zoe. I really do love all my BDHs.

Actually she didn't do that. She said she didn't like the SV
version of Clark. But then went on to say she adored Lex, so she must like some part of the show. Doesn't sound like saying it sucks to me.
embers, don't tease me with your words. ha, best sequel EVER! Serenity: "Let's Moon'em" Edition, coming Summer 2008!
Well, lynnie, her comments about Smallville didn't sound much in the positive.

I mean, I liked the character of Boyd on Point Pleasant, but I thought the show was horrid overall...
Can I nominate Joss? Big-brained, emotional hottie that he is...

Willowy, you are so right. Joss for Sex Toy of the Year!
LOL @ Gill. Knowing that he posts here, I'd personally think twice before saying something like that, heh. Then again, he probably doesn't spend too much time in a "hottest men in sci-fi" thread.
Where is John Chriton on that list? And... *cough*scorpiusdon'tdenyityoulovehim*cough*
Think Nathan should've topped this list (if you kept all of fembot's choices). I don't think he is necessarily more handsome than any of the other men but he is definitely sexier. Also, Michael Rosenbaum completely deserves his place on the list. He is the only reason I continue to watch Smallville. Clark may be cute & have superpowers but I bet Lex is much better in bed ;-)

If it was my list, Joss would have been on it & at the top (sorry Nathan). He's brilliant. There's nothing sexier than that.
Yay! Sean, Nathan and Adam!
The only problem I have about this list:
Where's Keith Hamilton Cobb from Andromeda?!!!!
Don't get me wrong, I'll take Jason Momoa...but, well...Keith Hamilton Cobb, y'all!
; )
