Zap2it's Norman Wilner gives the Serenity DVD four stars , saying it "flies about as smoothly as its namesake - which is to say, it's an inelegant machine, but a sturdy one."

Huh. Mr. Wilner is a Toronto reviewer and I recognize most of this review from the one he gave the movie. Makes sense, I guess.
Why rewrite if you don't have to. Glad he didn't change his mind when he watched the DVD.

Yee-ha indeed. I always thought Wilner was a man of impeccable taste. I enjoyed his frequently informative posts to alt.video.dvd before some idiot trolls drove him off. The newsgroup has fallen into a pretty sad state without him.

I wonder if he's discovered the Easter egg -- he doesn't mention it, and it's worth mentioning....
