In GIFTED, Cyclops and Emma Frost re-form the X-Men with the express purpose of “astonishing” the world. But when breaking news regarding the mutant gene unexpectedly hits the airwaves, will it derail their new plans before they even get started? As demand for the “mutant cure” reaches near-riot levels, the X-Men go head-to-head with the enigmatic Ord, with an unexpected ally – and some unexpected adversaries – tipping the scales! In DANGEROUS, a tragic death at the Xavier Institute reveals a powerful enemy living among the X-Men that they could never have suspected – and no, it’s not Magneto. But also...wow. Are they trying to turn Emma into some sort of Jean Grey type character? I mean, yeah, she's a telepath, and yes she's with Scott, but then she gets all Phoenixed for a while, and then there's this Wolverine affair.
Oy.
I can't wait!
Emma Frost | January 18, 00:01 CET
Maybe Jean Grey is Emma. Like Xorn was Magneto but then was his brother or something like that.

But what's with the description for "Ultimate Spider-Man #93" by Brian Michael Bendis: "It’s the Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Spider-Man versus Ultimate Deadpool and his deadly band of Reavers..."? (emphasis mine) I haven't read Spider-Man for years until some of JMS's recent issues. Where did the Reavers come from?
samatwitch | January 18, 03:36 CET
Those Reavers are part of the 616 reality though so i have no idea if they are anything like the group that is appearing in the Ultimate books. Never did get into those Ultimate titles. I like my original Marvel Universe way too much to settle for a bunch of Marvel Superhero wannabes, hehe.

Very true, war_machine. Covers ARE often misleading, and I WOULD have seen the cover as I bought the comic. However, I would have read issue 13 beforehand.
