Serenity region 3 DVD out Tuesday. The South Asia Direct-to-DVD edition hits stores in that region on Tuesday, although it's already shipping worldwide. It's the same features as the UK version, except coded in NTSC.

Tuesday? Tuesday, I'm still in Taiwan.
I already imported my ozzie copy, but I might consider a reflex purchase, if I see it in a store Tuesday.
Also interesting are the Australian and Hong Kong issues of Serenity. Go to yesasia.com retail site for all things Asian, search for Videos and Serenity. The top two items are the Oz DVD and HK VCD discs. I don't want to replay the cover art debate all over again but it's just interesting to see the localized covers.
What made me intrigued, that at least in the Hong Kong version, they're not just using Serenity in Chinese (Nin Jing) as the chinese title.
Check this direct link to the HK VCD: here.
You can't even see Serenity's chinese translation anywhre on the cover, which is closer to the US DVD, rather than the Australian version.
The Australian version is $40 US. I don't know that I can justify buying this at that price just for the extra extras...especially since I have not figured out if I could make my DVD player compatible. Oh well. (sigh)
