Triton Web, a Veronica Mars linear posting board, has gone live. Following in the footsteps of The Bronze, The Bronze: Beta and The Fuselage, TritonWeb offers fans a place to discuss the show sans threads. Spoilers are present but hidden behind spoiler tags. Please be sure to read the FAQ and rules before posting.

Kiba / moderators: the links goes to "TritonWeb.com" (webhosting company) instead of "TritonWeb.net". Might want to fix that.
Thanks Tristan - changed to .net.

Although this link clearly qualifies for Whedonesque postage on the basis of the well-established ties and overlaps between the folks behind Triton.net and other Joss-related boards, it might be timely to note that Veronica Mars by itself is not a Whedonesque category - VM's clear and close connections with Joss - his endorsement here, the appearances by Charisma and Aly (and Joss), notwithstanding.

Best wishes to the new board - judging by the some 500 posts on whedonesque.org about VM, it looks as though there'll be a lot of cross-over traffic. And thanks to Kiba for alerting W members to Triton.net's policies et al.
ACK! "Veronica Mars" has been preempted for basketball, on my station! Sob - both the acronym and verb!
I miss The Bronze.
I miss The Bronze sometimes, too. Well, the WB Bronze. The UPN Bronze wasn't that great. But, whenever I think of The Bronze, I think of Whedonesque, and how much better it is.
I've never seen the Bronze, but I've seen the Bronze: beta, and I must say that I have no idea how to read that thing. I was going to start reading and posting there when I got into Buffy, but the whole thing seemed like a private party despite it's openness. There's all these codes, magic highlighting and whatsits.

But, whenever I think of The Bronze, I think of Whedonesque, and how much better it is.

During what I call the "dark ages" Usenet was my primary source of Joss related discussion. Now that's bad!
I have to have threads. I type too slow! ;-)

There was a good suggestion on another thread to use the VM forum right next door on Whedonesque.org. Might do, might do.
Whilst i was a Buffy fan right from the beginning (literally, i caught the very first episode on it's first showing on Sky One and never missed an episode after that) it was a long time before i joined the online community.

I would come online to find out any information i might need but it never really occured to me to post anywhere so the original Bronze was only a memory by the time i even heard about it and the Bronze: Beta didn't click with me. It felt way too tightly knit a community to become involved in. I don't think that was intentional but sometimes it just works out that way when the same group of posters have been around a board for a good few years.

I stumbled across Whedonesque due to trying to get involved in the whole Save Angel campaign. That was the first time i had any real incentive to join in with an online activity. I'd imagine that many people discovered that they were part of a much larger worldwide Whedon fandom whilst they were a part of that campaign. I know it shocked me just how passionate the fandom was. Anyway, as i said, a side effect of that was finding this place and eventually, early last year i believe, i joined up. This place always seemed so much more open to online newbies and made for some very interesting reads.

It's just kind of ironic that i find Whedonesque only thanks to the final Whedon show at the time going off the air. I just hope i'm still posting here when we are celebrating whatever series might come along next! ;)
Ack. Sorry about the link error; I thought I had double and triple-checked it, making sure even that it was .net. Shows what I know.
Everyone catch the T.W.O.P. shoutout last night :) Funny... and that Meg's child was originally named Faith?
