Firefly Barbies - fun with dolls. And find out what happens when Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau get a hold of them.

Oh they rock, I want.

Nice anecdotes about Summer and Alan as well. Say it with me: Best. Cast. Ever. :)

Edit for spelling.

I'm glad that Alan was there with Summer. He's obviously a cut- up, just like Nathan and probably made it a whole lot more fun for her. Loved the anecdote of the Wash and River dolls under the table.
Teresa is great with these things. Here's the Death Barbie she made for me a few Christmases past, and the Pirates of the Caribbean Barbies she made after the movie came out.
She was terrified that I'd take the dolls and the actors would be annoyed, appalled, worried they really look like that, etc, so it was with great glee that I called her up afterwards and relayed the excited compliments she got.
Chris:

O.M.G.! Those Barbies are better-looking than all of the action figures combined! Waaay better. They're fantastic! Like the planned model Serenity, I want them. I just don't want to work for them *grin*

Those are fantastic and I loved the story at the con!
Ohh... I want a Kaylee doll. I havent seen a barbie that cute in ages.
Chris, those are fantastic - the Inara ones face almost looks just like her! And I loved the statue!! Makes me want to go out and buy a G.I. Joe doll and stone him!! The costumes are absolutely fantastic - especially Mal's!
Scarred and horrific figures display our learning curve here.

As someone said in the comments over there, they should really consider making Reaver dolls with those.
While I was talking to her Alan loudly responded to something someone else asked with “But it’s really her fault.” Summer looked at him, puzzled, and he continued, “Somebody sees the future, did she tell me to duck? No!”

“I wanted your seat!” Summer said, laughing.

“You wanted my job!” Alan said. Now everyone within earshot was laughing. He turned back to sign, shaking his head. “I can’t talk to her.”

Best impromptu con exchange between cast members I've heard of. :-)
Oh, the Kaylee doll was great! I want! Wimpering in tears.
I'm so confused -- I'm not supposed to think Barbie dolls *rock*. Shiny, Teresa Bridges! ;-)
I like the YoSaffBrig doll the best.
Wash's face looks amazingly accurate :)
Love the dolls! Great creativity!

I read a comment somewhere about needing a "Joss" doll to complete the set, and while I don't want to disparage others who might love a "Joss" doll, he (Joss) does mention in the Astonishing XMen article posted today that he is unusually hairy ...
The outfits are fantastic - I love the River doll the best but they are all great, however Simon does remind me of Ricky Ricardo :)
however Simon does remind me of Ricky Ricardo :)

Is that Simon the doll, Simon the doctor, or Simon the admin? ;-)

Those are awesome. Heaps better than the official figures. Except Mal looks like he's gotten into Inara's lipstick... oh well, he does like the soft cotton dresses...

I am inspired to go torture some Barbies until they resemble my will.
Hey Chris,

Was that Francine and Katchoo I spy in your Death Barbie pic?
