A Stake Through the Heart for Palisades Toys.
The toy company that produced two series of Buffy PALz seems to have been dusted. (ETA) And now it's official.
I am soooo sad. I was really looking forward to future PALz lines. WAAAAAHHH!!!!

Undoubtedly.
There were also supposed to eventually be plush beanie BtVS demons from Palisades. Dang it, I wanted a little stuffed Clem!
Maybe some other company will buy the licenses.

And what about Buffy season 3? :(
(btw, first post!)

Hmpf, I would've loved one of those as well.
Welcome Azael!
ETA: yep, I managed to misspell the word 'one'.

No they also produced the Buffy Palz line. Its highly unlikely we will see the Series 3 line.
Huge disappointment.

Toy reviewer Michael Crawford, in post #133, forwards a press release from "Limited by CAS, Inc.," the company buying Palisades' assets. It doesn't list the PALz line specifically, but it looks like they'll at least be taking over the Factory X line, although we also don't know whether or not they'll continue making Buffy props through that line, and they'll be producing "licensed pop-culture products," including action figures, under their newly-aquired "Palisades Toys" product line. I suppose we'll find out at next week's ToyFair what plans, if any, Limited has for the BtVS and AtS lines. Here's hoping.
