Joss Whedon makes the transition to comics with ease. In a negative review of actor Thomas Jane's 'Bad Planet', Joss is among the writers praised for their talent.

Bit of a strange piece. So few TV/movie people make a succesful transition to comics? Well, the only examples mentioned are that writers can write good comics, and actors... can't. Maybe that has more to do with something other than the medium?

(And there are quite a few more writers who've made a successful transition, from J.M Straczynski to Christos N. Gage.)
