Interview with Geoffrey Mandel. SerenityStuff interviews the graphic designer for Serenity.

When you sat spellbound in the movie theater watching the Serenity’s nose art fill the screen, or the star charts for Miranda that River brought up one-handed, you were seeing the work of Serenity graphic designer Geoffrey Mandel. And the odds are good you’ve seen his work before.

Mandel came to a con last summer and did a great presentation of what he had done for Serenity. He was remarkably open about the whole process, what gets changed and why. He had brought along some of the money which he donated to the charity auction and also just handed out to a couple of very lucky browncoats.
Very interesting guy to listen to.
