Gina Torres guest stars on "The Shield" tonight. She'll play Kavanaugh's ex-wife.

Wow, thanks for this heads-up, Faith Antoinette! We usually don't watch The Shield, but we'll definitely see this one. Like I said in the thread on Adam's role on Bones, it's great to see our peeps out and working on so many shows. Yay Gina! :-)
Now if only Summer could score some roles! She's so talented, it's so sad she hasn't been on anything recently.
Awesome! I love The Shield its one of my favorite shows. Plus, ME writers Elizabeth Craft and Sara Fain work on it.
Now I'm even more excited for tonight's episode!
Ah, The Shield is great! So this works out nicely. Of course, I'm not up to date, but I'll see this episode eventually, when the DVDs come out here. Looking forward to it.
Oh, yeah - so looking forward to this even more now that I know Gina will be there. The Shield has really been rockin' lately.
Gina and Forest Whitaker were both great in a really terrific episode. Speaking of "The Shield", writer Scott Rosenbaum had an interesting entry at the official Shield blog talking about how Joss and “Hush” inspired a scene of episode 503. It is pretty minor and I didn’t think it was especially warranting of its own post, so I added it here .

Wow. The last 10 minutes of this episode were beyond intense. At first, I thought this episode was just going to be used to humanize Kavanaugh, but then there's that ending. Just wow.
It was so weird seeing Gina in such a different kind of role. Hella great acting! :-)
