Phina Oruche gets yet another new role. "Buffy's" Olivia, a.k.a "Footballers Wives" Liberty Baker will join the cast of ITV1's "The Bill" for a few months playing a hot shot lawyer named Heather Lees according to Digital Spy. Will begin airing in April

And she was great in Footies Wives last week

I have to admit I lost interest in The Bill after they killed off , but maybe this will get me to watch it again.

Apocalypse, I never liked Footballers Wives. Can you tell me in two or three sentences why you like(d) it? I am just curious.
Well I can sum it up in two:

Tanya. Turner.

Hehehe. Seriously though, the reason why I love Footballers Wives is it is just sheer escapism, with over the top characters and outfits. Its glitzy trash and completely wonderful for it.

Oh yeah. And also Tanya Turner :)

Is it me or does EVERYBODY die in The Bill? I mean look at the line-up two years ago, and basically now, its a totally different cast, with most of the old ones ending up in boxes! Is Sun Hill more dangerous than Sunnydale?
Sorry, Apocalypse, but Footballers Wives makes me cringe. Now, if you want a good football drama series, go Dream Team! ;)

As for The Bill, is that even still on? I have to admit the only series that has drawn me to ITV1 for longer than it takes to find the remote control in a very, VERY long time is Eleventh Hour. I try to avoid the channel to ensure i don't catch Coronation Street (the stuff of television nightmares!) by mistake.

Now ITV2, totally different story! Supernatural, American Idol and other US imported goodies. Much more to my taste. Although i still have to be careful to avoid Coronation Street repeats! :)
Oooh I do enjoy a bit of Dream Team, although in smaller doses. And talk about The Bill killing off most of their staff? More players than not from Harchester United are six feet under. What with the coach crash, plane disaster, and bus explosion...not to mention being impaled on a hanger!

And Lynda Block...Ooh I love her!

But Footies Wives is still better! :)
Let us not mention the hanger incident. NOT the way i wanted to see the legend that was Karl Fletcher leave the show! Don Barker got off waaaay too lightly for what he did to Fletch, i reckon!

But yeah, signing to Harchester United is slightly akin to signing your own death warrant, lol!

And Footballers Wives is in NO way better than Dream Team! :p
