The Movie Timeline. "The Movie Timeline is the history of everything, taken from one simple premise - that everything you see in the movies is true..." Serenity can be found at the bottom in the year 2517, sandwiched between Jason X and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

No place better than that.
Is that not the coolest thing ever?
It's been done before and *better*.

Holy crap. ::adds this to her most pointless yet awesome list of favorites::
Someone really had a lot of time on their hands, wow! But they forgot the actual First Contact, in 2061, when the Enterprise goes back in time to fight the Borg ... ok I'll stop.
Yeah, and the first warp flight, Kirk's birth... Oops, my geek is showing ;)

So completely sad and pointless it transcends mere sad pointlessness and achieves beauty. Reminds me of the Wold Newton 'project'.
Yes, but -- a little of "Alien Vs. Predator" goes a long way, and what's up with this:
1898 Kansas - A tornado sends Dorothy Gale to Oz (The Wizard of Oz)
In the book, maybe, but in the movie? What girl in 1898 would have a dress that only reached to her knees, like Dorothy's (so you can see her socks and her ruby slippers)?
Also: 1946...Tim Robbins begins sentence for murder of wife (The Shawshank Redemption)
wow, Susan Sarandon will be so pissed! ;-)

All kidding (and nitpicking) aside, I give full props to the webmaster's complete lack of a life that allowed him/her the time to compile all this information! Besides, it includes this entry, which was my favorite: 1988...October 2: Time goes a bit odd, and a man dresses as a rabbit (Donnie Darko) ;-)
I enjoyed the Terminator references. Judgment Day. Again. Or not. *hee*

And 1997 was a rough year, apparently.
Wow, Brother William, that one does indeed kick this one's ass.

But both are nice compilations.
They got the Matrix wrong it wasn't set in 1999 it was set approx 200 years later. It was a false version of 1999 as everyone knows.
That's exactly what 'they' want you to think Crypto.

(whoa, deja vu ;)
Ariane: I double checked and found this...
2063 April 5: Earthlings make their first contact with the Vulcans (Star Trek: First Contact)

Brother William: that link is great - and a major snicker fest. Thanks!

That was major work to read never mind to write.

And where is "Contact" - one of my personal faves.

I also have to give big props to BrotherWilliam's awesome link. So kewl, especially when you get to the *ahem* "end!" ;-)
redfern: I see it now - probably missed it because I was sure it was in 2061 not 2063 (because I remembered thinking: I'll be 80 by then, so I might live to see it (yes, I really thought that!) and I would be 80 in 2061.) Guess I'll have to rewatch the movie then ...

And that geocities site is really really cool!
Yes Billz - the *ahem* end is vital to human survival...
