Official site for Summer Glau's new movie 'Mammoth' gets updated with cast bios, premise of the movie and, most importantly of all, pics. Mammoth will premiere on the Sci Fi Channel on April 22nd.

Well...I sat through Alien Apocalypse for Bruce Campbell. I think I should be able to sit through this for Summer.
I'm hoping it will be the definitive mammoth movie of the last few years.

Summer does a goofy little grin in the trailer, it may be worth watching just for that.
Do you know where I could find that trailer? I don't think it was on the site.
Here's an early trailer UnpluggedCrazy. Not sure what (if anything) has changed since.

Anyway, i'm looking at the photos and as it turns out Summer Glau is really cute. Who knew ? ;)

Reckon i'll be watching though (or maybe because ;) it seems kind of hokey (hopefully in the good way or, at worst, the so-bad-it's-good way).
Summer Glau and Vincent Ventresca better known as The Invisible Man? Oh I'm so there.

.................
*snort* Yeah! I am so tired of seeing poorly written Mammoth-rampage-destroys-town-thus-threatening-world movies!

They definitely have a great cast and its good to see Summer Glau get top billing. The cast bio mentioned something about a teen comedy, "Sleepover" that she's in. I think she'd be great in a comedy, some of the funniest scenes in the BDM were due to her expressions.

[sarcasm]Hey, the feds who show up in the stills are NRO! Cool.[/sarcasm] Of course, nevermind the fact that the NRO have even less field presence than the NSA--not sure what the National Reconnaissance Office would do to a mammoth other than spot it with a satellite, and most of their budget is R&D anyways, but hey. Since when have low budget sci fi movies ever really cared WHICH government agency was responsible. Using the CIA or NSA is too passe now.

Sheesh.

Good point about the billing, DejaThoris
Well, isn't it obvious? The NRO is, uh, reconnaisizing the mammoth. Yeah, that's right.

As another fan of Invisible Man, I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Word. ;-)
The Invisible Man *sniff*. Bobby Hobbes *sniff*. The Official *sniff*. I loved that show. One of the underrated genre shows of the last few years. And Stark and Arnaud - two of the best guest villains of any show.

They need to release that show on DVD. The first season is out in the UK but as far as I can tell the second season never was.
Summer looks a little more grown up in the photos... and so pretty, of course. In the trailer, looks like she still gets to kick some butt... or at least one guy's butt...

And... Summer again has the wild, bedraggled, I'm-running-for-my-life-no-time-to-coif-my-hair-do.

Although I promised myself to cut down my 'mammoth on the rampage' movies, I'm definitely going to catch this flick. Takin' one for the team...

I'd love to see Summer in a comedy to show her range... and with her hair beautifully done... just for a change of pace!
Summer looks great! Goofy grin + blue jeans... I'm sold!
So, is this an homage to Ice Age2? ;-)
