22451: Buffy 'De Ja Vu' quiz.

One Buffy quiz on the front page is more than enough.

Friday, November 20, 2009

22443: Is Kirk Cameron the real-life Dr. Horrible?

Nope. He really isn't.

And now for a more detailed explanation as to why this was pulled:

Discussion about religion as well as politics in the context of the Whedonverse can be a bit heated but it is usually quite amicable at Whedonesque. Unfortunately though, discussion about articles about Christian fundamentalists such as the Hollywood Reporter one never ends well.

22440: Amazon Goldbox deal live!

Already on the front page.

22426: TV Guide Sci-Fi Preview

Linking to scans is against our rules.

22424: Simon Templeman (Pavayne in "Angel" episode "Hell-bound") stars as Oscar Wilde.

At the rate the site clicks over with new stories these days, I'm gonna say that this news is just a wee bit too marginal for a front-page entry.

22422: Equality Now Auction.

Going once, going twice! Posted earlier in the week.

22413: Nathan Fillion drops Buffy hints.

See previous.

22411: Nathan tweets on upcoming Castle episode.

It's a week away and this was just a vague hint that there's something Buffy related in the episode. Let's wait and see if there's something more link-worthy closer to the air date.

23401: Joss Whedon's Post-Dollhouse Plans Already Underway?

An io9 article which largely consists of comments made at Whedonesque.

Monday, November 16, 2009

22389: Firefly & Buffy included in best TV show's!

Sunday, November 15, 2009

22382: Dollhouse ARG Spectrin "Tips".

The most recent ARG thread is still pretty active and I see this new information has already been posted in a comment there.

22380: Dollhouse ARG next clue??

We're a blog not a message board.

23777: Saving PR Alex.

An article which seemed to be made up entirely of comments made at Whedonesque.

22375: Television Without Pity has some suggestions for where each main Dollhouse actor should head for new work

No objection to decent criticism of the show, but we draw the line at actor bashing.

22373: Curse Your Sudden But Inevitable Cancellation

See previous entry.

22372: HijiNKS Ensue "Curse Yor Sudden but Inevitable Cancellation".

See previous deletion.

22366: Hijinks Ensue comic waxes poetic about the demise of Dollhouse.

Lovely but we feature HiJinks the other week and we're always weary of webcomics doing this sort of thing just to get hits from dear old Whedonesque.

22364: 2012 review with a whedon praise

There's already one 2012 review on the front page, this link will get added to it.

22361: CAPRICA News from the Chicago Tribune...

Unless it's an interview with Jane or James, Caprica features like this aren't really relevant for the front page.

Friday, November 13, 2009

22360: Who Should and Who Shouldn't Be a New Charlie's Angel.

Seemed more like an excuse to bash actresses than anything else.

22358: Trailer for Tucker and Dale vs Evil starring Alan Tudyk

Posted on the 2nd of this month.

22348: Today's PVP strip about Dollhouse.

What with the high turn over in front page items today, this unfortunately doesn't really stand out as an item on its own.

22344: What if Dollhouse was owned by Joseph McGinty?

Posted yesterday.

22346: "Dollhouse Axed"

This we know.

22337: Ditch The Tech!

22333: Gawker checks in with its usual snarky take on the Dollhouse cancellation...

What with the cancellation, we're trying to keep the front page from getting overloaded. And stuff like this will always get the chop first.

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

22231: Final Dollhouse schedule

The schedule is already linked to on the cancellation thread.

22322: What If Edward had Fallen in love with Buffy not Bella?

This video has been discussed on the front page before.

22320: Horrible Turn available for viewing!

Posted 2nd by a bare minute . . .

Monday, November 9, 2009

22310: Rossum Corporation has online presence.

Double Rossum posted (rossi?)

22306: Is Kirk Cameron the real-life Dr Horrible?

No.

22304: Please let Joss take over Terminator.

It's not really saying anything new and it's again with the meta-esque (see previous entry).

22298:"Mothman" to Terrorize Jewel Staite

For reasons of space, links relating to non-Joss projects need to have a clear focus on the Whedon connection (an interview with Jewel, or a promotional picture of her, in this instance, would do). This was just a rather generic-looking film poster, which doesn't quite cut it for the front page.

Saturday, November 7, 2009

22290: Morena Baccarin on "V": A Subtler Form of Evil

Same material and quotes that were posted in a different interview yesterday (conference call?).

Friday, November 6, 2009

22283: Circular Reference to Whedon Rings Bid

It's a bit meta-esque.

22277: Castle gets very high Ratings for "Vampire Weekend".

We would only really do ratings threads for premieres of non-Joss shows these days (i.e. those that star Whedonverse actors).

22273: River, Buffy, and Faith Showdowns.

Fell foul of our no self-linking rule.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

22260: Five free autographed Serenity comics!

Posted yesterday, still on the front page.

22225: Buffy mention in Heroes 4x07

No link and this news was posted and deleted the other week.

22251: Adam Baldwin's Big Hollywood Column.

Yes it's really him but it's not really relevant to discussion here.

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

22246: Networks love DVR?

No Whedon (related) mention in the article.

Monday, November 2, 2009

22234: Reavers Cut Out a Spot as one of the Scariest

Combined this io9 list with the previous io9 entry to save front-page space
