Much Ado soars at the specialty box office. According to The Hollywood Reporter - "Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing soared at the specialty box office, grossing $71,000 from five theaters for a location average of $14,200, the best of any film. The film, marking a victory for Roadside Attractions, is anticipating a $230,000 opening weekend for a theater average of $46,000." Update: Joss has commented on the film's opening weekend.

Hollywood Reporter says Dollhouse is cancelled. A few minutes ago a crew member tweeted a sad face. Presumably, this story is why. Variety reports that all 13 episodes of season 2 will air and the 13th episode will be the series finale (which could air on January 22nd according to this schedule). ETA: Joss speaks about the cancellation.

Joss Whedon talks Glee, Terminator and the Dr Horrible sequel. He's willing to go up to $15,000 for the Terminator franchise, he'll be shooting the Glee episode in March (it's his favourite new show) and he thinks Horrible Turn is "itsy kitschy glitzy" (turns out it should be "itsy kitsy goodsy") .
