Wow... I haven't updated this thing in more than two years. That's a frightening thought.
Anyway, my name is Adam Sterling. I'm a student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, where I'm working toward a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. I'm currently in my second year of study, and find it hard to believe that there are still about ten more to go.
I'm also a musician and currently trying to write and record an album, which is tentativey titled "Cells Made of Heart." In terms of genre, I tend to try to bridge the gaps between folk, americana, pop, and rock. My influences include Patty Griffin, Jeffrey Foucault, Ryan Adams, the Indigo Girls, Feist, Peter Mulvey, and Kris Delmhorst. And whoever their influences were.
Apart from the Whedon roster, my favourite television shows include Six Feet Under, The West Wing, Veronica Mars, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Sports Night, and Mad About You.
I enjoy reading, with my current favourite books being Jeffrey Eugenides's Middlesex, Mordecai Richler's Cocksure, and Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar.
One of my very favourite past-times is introducing my friends to the worlds of Whedon. As of September 2008, two of my best friends have been fully converted to Buffy/Angel-watching, comic-reading, line-dropping fanatics. I'm currently working away on another best friend, who is through the first three seasons of Buffy and is madly in love with Angel.
