Wow... I haven't updated this thing in more than two years. That's a frightening thought.

Anyway, my name is Adam Sterling. I'm a student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, where I'm working toward a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. So far, I've made it through my first semester of undergrad. I think I'm close.

I'm also a musician and currently in the preproduction stage of my first album, tentatively titled No Name Town. In terms of genre, I tend to try to bridge the gaps between folk, americana, pop, and rock. My influences include Patty Griffin, Jeffrey Foucault, Ryan Adams, the Indigo Girls, Feist, Peter Mulvey, and Kris Delmhorst. And whoever their influences were.

Apart from the Whedon roster, my favourite television shows include Six Feet Under, The West Wing, Veronica Mars, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Sports Night, and Mad About You.

I enjoy reading, with my current favourite books being Jeffrey Eugenides's Middlesex, Mordecai Richler's Cocksure, and Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar.

One of my very favourite past-times is introducing my friends to the worlds of Whedon. As of January 23rd, 2008, my best friends and I are through the fifth season of Buffy and we're planning to finish the second season of Angel, this evening. I've also given them reading assignments, such as Fray.

That's all I feel like writing about. If you ever want to get in touch with me, just drop me a line through email, with something obviously Whedonesque in the subject line!
