Thought I oughta add something here just in case anyone is interested. As you can probably guess from my nickname, I'm a Spike fan. I came into BtVS late -- my first episode was Beneath You from S7. From that moment on I was hooked and concurrently watched S7 in realtime while FX was in repeats of S6 from the beginning of that season.
They say where you came in is always your favorite season, and I guess that's true of me. S6 is my fave, followed by 5, 3, 2, 7, 4 and 1 in that order -- though I do think that both S7 and S4 though overall weaker than others have an enormous amount of excellent eps within them. They just don't arc as well as 6, 5 or 3 IMO.
I'm also an avid reader; currently into the Dresden Files and a new member of the McAnallay's board. It's cool because the author (and his wife) are both big Whedon fans and post regularly. You can see that I live in Ft Myers, but I'm originally from Oak Park, IL (near west suburb of Chicago) and I miss everything about it but the weather (and traffic).
